Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, August 14, 2010, Mrs. Eva Marie Henderson, 64, wife of Mr. Michael H. Henderson.

On August 14, the world lost a wonderful woman and the best Mom a son could ever hope for to cancer. She was born and raised in Nuremberg, Germany in 1946 and in her 64 years made everyone’s lives a little better, a little easier, and a lot brighter. She took us on travels around the world, eventually settled in Augusta and enjoyed her family, friends and especially her grandchildren for all her years. Her door was always open, taking everyone in with an open heart and mind. Our Mom is the guiding heart and rock of our family, and the world is a lesser place without her.

Family members include sons: Daniel McFarlin and wife Denise, Timothy McFarlin, Ronnie Yonesaki and wife Janet, and Michael Yonesaki, grandchildren: Daniel McFarlin Jr., L’Niya McFarlin, Kayla Eva Marie McFarlin, Megan Viator, Aubrey Yonesaki, Hayden Yonesaki, and Richard Henderson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Barrett Coachman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
