Mrs. Hensley was a native of New Liberty, KY, and has resided in Augusta, GA, for the past 6 ½ years. She was a homemaker, member of Lystra Church of Christ, in Mason, KY, and a member of KEL Foundation in Dearing, GA.
Family members in addition to her late husband include: daughters: Judith H. Fleenor and husband Robert of Evans, GA, Rita H. Mehas and husband Mark of Cincinnati, OH, and Janice E. Hensley of Kenna, WV; son: Carl D. Hensley and wife Kandi of Ocala, FL; brother: Raymond J. Sharon and wife Joyce of Carrollton, KY; sister: Margaret S. Rollins of Florence, KY; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hensley was predeceased by her daughter: Debora G. Hensley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Baptist Church in Holbrook, KY, with Rev. Ben Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Holbrook, KY.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to KEL Foundation, 6944 Hwy 221 SE, Dearing, GA, 30808( www.kelfoundation.org ).
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main Street, Williamstown, KY.
