Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, December 24, 2020, Evelyn P. Brannen, 90, loving wife of the late Bill G. Brannen.

Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Augusta and graduated from Tubman High School. She was the past president of the Tubman High Alumni Association. Evelyn was an active member of First Advent Christian Church and was a former bookkeeper for Sanders Auto Electric. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Family members include her granddaughter: Margaret Mobley - Meulman (Colin); great grandchildren: Kacey Mobley-Meulman, Damon Mobley-Meulman and Brittany Mobley-Meulman; adopted daughter: Cheryl W. Mobley; son-in-law: Jim Mobley (Cheryl); niece: Denise Cole; and nephew: Doug Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter: Elaine B. Mobley; mother: Lois G. Priest and sister: Sarah P. Dailey.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Nate Dean officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be: Randy Turner, Rich James, Thomas Arnett, Shane Arnett, John Sanders and Jim Thomaston.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Advent Christian Church, 1263 Marks Church Road, Augusta, GA 30909.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
