Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at her residence, Mrs. Evelyn F. Collman, 78, beloved wife of Retired Lt Col. Richard H. “Dick” Collman.
Mrs. Collman was a native of Erie, PA and has resided in the Augusta area for 40 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.
Family members in addition to her husband include her daughter: Linda Collman Korn and husband Jack of Augusta, sons: Jeff Collman and wife Joy of Augusta, Craig Collman of North Augusta, SC, Mark Collman and wife Tana of Alpharetta, GA, Chris Collman and wife Michele of Augusta and grandchildren: Rebekah & Alex Korn, Erica Lloyd, Caroline Graham, Megan & Jessica Collman, Riley & Connor Collman, great-grandchild: Ella Claire Lloyd.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Mark Van Alstine officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Jud C. Hickey Alzheimer’s Association, 1899 Central Ave, Augusta, GA 30904
