Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, May 3, 2015, Mrs. Evelyn Johnson, 80, loving wife to the late James “Jimmy” M. Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson attended Agnes Scott College. She was a founding member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and was a former member of The Alter Guild Greeters Committee. She was a member of the Wood Valley Garden Club, The Bridge Club, and The Seabrook Island Club, SC. Mrs. Johnson was a devoted wife and mother.

Family members include her daughter: Lynn Johnson Salters and her husband Frank “Bo”; son: James “Jay” M. Johnson, Jr.; granddaughter: Annabelle Lynn Salters; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. A reception will follow the graveside service at the church.
