Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Evelyn Lewis Price, 70, loving wife of Thomas “Tommy” E. Price, Sr.

Mrs. Price was a native Augusta. She and her husband loved children and believed they needed a safe place to go, they owned and operated TP Cruisers Teen Club. Mrs. Price was a member of the Augusta Police Department Women’s Auxiliary. She loved to travel and lived for her children and grandchildren. Evelyn was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1965. She cherished the times spent with her special classmates.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include her daughter: Kimberly Price Grice (Scott); son: Thomas E. Price, Jr.; grandchildren: Blake Albert Parrish, Dale Price, Tyler Price, Preston Grice; sister: Cheryl Manuel (Morgan); brother: Charles Lewis and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: the late John and Mary Frances Lewis; and her special aunt: Willie Kennedy Scott.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Bruce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
