Evans, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, January 22, 2011, Florence Teuton Chalker, 79, wife of the late Lindy M. Chalker, Sr.
Mrs. Chalker attended Lewis Memorial and Parkway Baptist Church. She was an optician for Murphy and Robinson for 25 years. She owned and operated Flo’s Country Kitchen for 15 years. Mrs. Chalker was a devoted wife and mother.
Family members include, sons, Michael Teuton, MD of Jackson, SC, Kenneth Teuton of Jackson, SC, the late Gregory Alan Teuton, the late Randy Lee Teuton and, daughter, Cheryl Meadows of Augusta, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister, Thelma P. Hoss.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Russell Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital, Memorial Dept., 501 St. Judes Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
