Mr. Foster Lee Huggins

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, November 13, 2010, Foster Lee Huggins, 74, husband of Elizabeth Patricia Meehan Huggins.

Mr. Huggins grew up in Roswell, GA and attended Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA. He joined the Air Force in 1954 and was married in 1957 at Mitchell Air Force Base. Foster and Elizabeth met in New York and did much traveling with the Air Force. All of Mr. Huggins’s children were born in different states. Mr. Huggins worked in Civil Service at Ft. Gordon, GA as a Directorate of Training and Doctrine.

Family members include: sons: John Paul Huggins, William “Bill” Mitchell Huggins (Lisa), and David Lee Huggins, daughter: Penney Huggins Tierney (Mike), grandchildren: Brian Huggins, Tyler Huggins, Britany Huggins, Ian Tierney, and Connor Tierney.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of GA, 2050 Walton Way, Suite 208, Augusta, GA 30904 or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 749596 Los Angeles, CA 90074.
