Frances Navarre Kinson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 8, 2017, Frances Navarre Kinson, 94, wife of the late Lt. Col. E.C. Navarre and the late CWO Arthur Kinson.
Mrs. Kinson was born in Magnolia, KY and retired in Augusta in 1964 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta. She loved life, golf, the horses and her family, mostly her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She always had a story to share.
Family members include daughter: Carolyn Navarre Chiera (Dave) of Augusta; son: Sam Navarre (Marsha) of Augusta; grandchildren: Charles Evans (Heather), Jonathan Evans (Beth), Jennifer Griner (Richard), Sammy Navarre (Shari); ten great grandchildren: sister; Geraldine Ford (Walter) of Kentucky; her loving caretakers: Ann Flake, Kitty Pevey, Annette Moss, Yolanda Preston, and Kimberly S.
In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Kinson was preceded in death by her four sisters and one brother from Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Alvin Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests charitable donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of one’s choice.
