Martinez, GA - Judy Frances Whitehead Seniuk, 98, loving wife of the late Dr. Michael Seniuk went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2022, with her family by her side.

Frances was born in Augusta, GA on September 15, 1924, to Timothy and Annie Lee Whitehead. After high school, Frances trained as a dental assistant and was working at Camp Gordon in 1944 when she met her future husband and the love of her life, Michael. They were married in 1945 and enjoyed 66 years of marriage until his passing in 2011. They shared the common interest of dentistry and even though Frances became a homemaker she still found time to read. She especially enjoyed reading dental and medical pathology textbooks. She was a member of the Women’s Dental Auxiliary and St. Mary’s on the Hill Catholic Church. She loved listening to Christian music, enjoyed cooking, and gathering with family. She gave her children a wonderful and loving home to grow up in. Doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Frances spent time visiting relatives and friends who were sick and was always there to help out in any away that she could. She was a very kind and caring person and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family members include her daughter, Patricia Travis Evans, GA, son, Michael Seniuk (Sandra) Charlotte, NC, daughter, Susan Abbott (Steve) Martinez, GA. Ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Seniuk was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Seniuk Marsh; sister: Margaret Whitehead Alston and brother: Earl Whitehead.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors at 12:00 noon with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Abbott, Chad Abbott, Chase Abbott, Jesse Ethridge, and Brian Thurber.

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
