Fred Pollock

North Augusta, SC – Mr. Frederick “Fred” Pollock, 63, met his Lord and Savior face to face on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Fred was born in NY but was a longtime resident of North Augusta, SC. He owned and operated Pollock Painting for many years. Fred loved life, he was a member of Abilene Baptist Church, The Augusta Christian Singles and the CSRA Shag Club. He was an avid hot rod enthusiast who could not avoid attending car shows. Fred loved his family so much and was a devoted father, Pop-pop, brother, son, and friend.

Family members include his children: Cindy Mitchem (David), Chris Pollock and Missy Cornett (D.J.); grandchildren: Briana Roach (Kenny), Steven Mitchem (Brianne), Matthew Mitchem, Danny Cornett (Jaidan), Devan Pollock, Rhylan Mitchem and Connor Mitchem; great grandchildren: Giulia Lynn Roach; mother: Muriel Pollock; siblings: Stephen D. Pollock, Jr., Kathy Anderson (Vic) and Kevin A. Pollock (Andrea) and many other loving family members. Fred was preceded in death by his father Stephen D. Pollock and sister Dorothy Thomas.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Abilene Baptist Church with Dr. Brad Whitt officiating.
