Augusta, GA – Frederick (Fred) H. Myers, Jr., 82, died peacefully at home on June 21, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Harriet Epps Myers, two daughters, Mary M. Bridges (E. Wayne Bridges), and Cynthia M. Reeves, and one son, Sanford E. Myers (Charlotte R. Myers). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Ashley C. Bridges, Justin A. Reeves, Rebekah B. Duke, Wesley T. Reeves, Mary Katherine Myers, Kaitlin E. Reeves and Caroline E. Myers. In addition he had 3 great grandchildren, Ben Reeves, Hampton Duke and Colton Duke.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of the Most Holy Comforter, The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Taylor officiating.
The family request memorials in lieu of flowers be made to the Church of the Holy Comforter, 473 Fury’s Ferry Road, Martinez, GA 30907, American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909 or to the charity of one’s choice.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the church.
