G.T “Brash” Brashear
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 26, 2013, Mr. G.T. “Brash” Brashear, 94, husband of Mrs. Beverly D. Brashear.
Mr. Brashear was a retired Real Estate Broker and the past president of the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors. He was a Ret. Lt. Col after 20 years of service in the United States Army. Mr. Brashear served in World War II and received a Combat Infantry Badge and the American Defense Medal.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Tice Brashear (Jan) of Augusta and Ercel Eugene Dotson of Apex, NC; daughter: Dessa Brashear of France; brother: Ercel Brashear of Hereford, TX; sister: Joan Womble; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with The Rev. Robert Fain officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 106 SRP Drive Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
