Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, July 16, 2022, Mr. Gary Wills Sutton, 79, loving husband of Penny Lucky Sutton.

Gary was a native of Kalamazoo, MI and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a very active, long-time member of Hephzibah United Methodist Church. Gary was a high school graduate who through self-education became a mechanical engineer and hydraulics expert. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather (Bapa), and great grandfather.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: Mark Sutton (Jodi) and Mike Sutton (Sheryl); grandchildren: Nathan (Candace), Joshua (Kaysha), Brian, Chris (Rose), and Kira; great grandchildren: Rhett and Lila; brother: Ross Sutton (Donna); stepdaughter: Kathy Beasley Rutledge (Scott); and step granddaughter: Gracie Beasley. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Sutton.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Hephzibah United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Life Center adjacent to the church.
