George "Steve" Fernandes

Lincolnton, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, March 7, 2022, George Steven “Steve” Fernandes, 69.

Steve was a hard worker and was co-owner of Columbia Sheet Metal. He would give you the shirt off his back and would do anything for anyone. Steve enjoyed golfing and spending time at the lake. He loved his family and spending time with him.

Family members include his children: Charles Fernandes (Cicely), Jessica Smith; grandchildren: Savannah Fernandes, Mason Fernandes, Jackson Smith; brother: Michael Fernandes (Susan); nephews: Mark Fernandes, David Fernandes (Jan) and numerous great nieces and nephews, Taylor, Jordan, Matthew, Madison and Harrison Fernandes. He is preceded in death by his mother: Jeanette Parrish; son: Brian Fernandes and brothers: James Fernandes, Anthony Fernandes.

The memorial service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Addison Belangia officiating.
