Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 24, 2018, Mr. George Henry Greiner, 80, loving husband of Susan Bryner Greiner.

Mr. Greiner was a member of The Assembly at Augusta. He was a longtime Sunday school teacher, and church board member at various churches. He was a huddle leader with Fellowship of Christian Athletes in New Jersey. Mr. Greiner was a successful high school football coach for 38 years. He was known as a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Family members, in addition to his wife include sons: Mike Greiner (Judi) of Grovetown, GA , Jeffrey Greiner (Marlesa) of Dothan, AL; daughter: Kelly Flores (David) of Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren: Holli Ackley (Steve), Jay Greiner, Sandi Lever (Nathan), Jeffrey Greiner, Asher Greiner, Tyse Greiner, Morgan Darter (Todd), and Michael Flores (Meagan); seven great grandchildren; and brother: William Greiner.

The funeral service will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at The Assembly at Augusta (formerly Lifepoint Church), 4207 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909 with Pastor Baxter G. Stanley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Assembly at Augusta Church, 4207 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909.

The family will receive friends one and a half hours before the service on Saturday beginning at 9:30 A.M. at the church.
