Augusta, GA – Mr. George Albert Roesel, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Trinity Hospital.
Mr. Roesel was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a retired physics teacher and longtime member of the choir at Resurrection.
Immediate surviving family members are his daughter, Christine R. Guthrie (husband, James Guthrie) and his sister, Dorothy Roesel Carpenter.
A memorial service will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M., at The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection with Pastor David Hunter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 825 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.
