Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 3, 2010, Mr. George F. Seigler of Aiken, SC.

Mr. Seigler was born in Aiken, SC. He was the son of the late George P. and Lizzie Scott Seigler. He retired from Graniteville Company as supervisor of the finishing department and from Club Car of Augusta. He was a member of the Aiken Jaycees and was a sponsor of the Miss Aiken county Pageant for many years. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Help of the Christian Church.

Family members include brothers; Ralph Seigler of Aiken, SC, Wyman Seigler of Aiken and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marjorie Seigler, Lizzie S. Owens and his brothers, Frank Seigler, Buddy Seigler and Jimmy Seigler.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Trinity Hospice, Dr. Teresa Coleman, the staff of the Medical College of Georgia and Dr. Lana Jackson for their loving care.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Medical College of Georgia Health Cancer Center, 1101 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
