Augusta, Ga – Entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at her residence, Mrs. Geraldine Ruth Unger Lobb, wife of the late Reverend Clarence Lobb, LCDR USN Ret.
Other family members include her daughters: Pamela S. Lee and husband Frank; Kari Pedersen and her husband Ernie; brother: Rev. Ralph Unger and wife Barbara; sister: Lois Whiteside and her husband Richard; grandchildren: Noah and Micah Lee, Alex, Autumn and Austin Pedersen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lobb was a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and had resided in Augusta, GA for the last 12 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She was a faithful member of the women’s quilting group at the church.
The quiet courage, dignity and strength with which she faced her illness are a true testimony to the faith in which she lived her daily life. The family is grateful for the many cards, prayers and support they received during her final illness.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Karl Voges and Pastor Roger Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church Cemetery in Irmo, SC. at 2:30.
