Gladys Dise
Augusta, GA – Mrs. Gladys V. Dise, 94, loving wife to the late Homer “Red” Dise entered into rest at her home Wednesday, September 17, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Dise was a former realtor and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Director at the Florida Council on Aging. She was a lifelong and avid reader and she enjoyed baking for her family. Mrs. Dise was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by all and showed others how to love.
Family members include her daughter: Bonnie Dise McCauley and her husband Don; grandchildren: Sean Patrick McCauley, Brandy Leslie McCauley, Joshua Dise McCauley, Molly Ann Dise, Maggie Mae Wilson; great grandchildren: Madison, Jontae, Julian, Jayla, Jayden, and Versai; and brother: James L. Hough, Jr. and his wife Sandy. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Gregory H. Dise, and sister, Bonnie Frazier.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Steve Russ officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester, WV at a later date.
