Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, April 11, 2011 at her residence, Mrs. Gloria Mae Edwards, beloved wife of Donald P. Edwards of Augusta.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of Miami, FL. grew up in Aiken, SC, but lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a homemaker and a loving and giving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family members in addition to her husband include her sons: Donald A. Edwards, Mike E. Edwards and wife Brenda; daughter, Cindy Swearingen; three grandchildren: Summer Swearingen, Austin Swearingen, Savannah Edwards; and one great-grandchild, Kendal.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Gosey officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the grave.
