Gloria M. Reeves

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, April 24, 2024, Gloria Maxine Reeves, 92, wife of the late William Reeves.

Gloria was a lifelong resident of Augusta, Georgia. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church. Gloria worked as a clerk at University Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and formerly served as a garden club rose judge. Gloria was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Family members include her sons: Randall C. Reeves and Michael S. Reeves (Jackie); grandchild: Tiffany; three great grandchildren and a sister: Lois Ganus Sogge. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson: Jeremy Reeves and her parents.

The family gives a special thanks to Betty Martin for her compassionate care of Gloria.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 29, 2024 from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be private at Westover Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the J. D. Paugh Foundation, 3035 Washington Road, Augusta, Georgia 30907 which supports local families of fallen police officers or to the Burn Foundation of America, 3614 J. Dewey Gray Circle, Building C, Augusta, GA 30909 which our local fire departments support.
