Augusta, GA – Mrs. Gloria Riddle Bowden, 81, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

Mrs. Bowden was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church. She was a Secretary with A Brian Merry Grammar School, Houghton Grammar School, Hillcrest Baptist School, and Cranston-Robertson-Whitehurst Engineering Firm.

Family members include her daughter: Kelly Bowden Vann and husband Ric of Trenton, SC; son: Brett J. Bowden and wife Lynn of Dublin, GA; grandchildren: Abby Bowden, Catherine Bowden, Michelle Hawkins Stephens, Jeffrey Hawkins; and sister-in-law: Camillia Riddle of Greenwood, SC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Cris Edge, Jeffrey Hawkins, Michael Hawkins, Mark Riddle, Mark Stephens, and Joey Wilson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
