Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, April 9, 2010 at Trinity Hospital, Mrs. Gloria Wright Rhodes, 87, wife of the late George Thomas Rhodes, Jr.
Mrs. Rhodes was a native of Augusta, GA and a member of Green Street Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Tubman High School and lived in Augusta for many years before moving away. She traveled extensively, with frequent visits to family. Mrs. Rhodes will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Family members include her daughter: Ann Rhodes Hall of Augusta; 3 sons: George T. Rhodes III (Betsy) of Mebane, NC, Jack Wright Rhodes (Jean) of Charleston, SC, Todd McAllister Rhodes (Lynne) of Jacksonville, FL, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces & nephews & cousins.

Graveside services will be held Monday, April 12, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Robert F. Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
