Mr. Green B “Frank” Chambers
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, December 20, 2010, Mr. Green Chambers, 65, husband of Barbara May Chambers of Grovetown.
Mr. Chambers was a native of Dayton, OH. He served in the U.S. Army for 16 years and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Ben McTier Trucking Co. Mr. Chambers was an avid gardener and loved to travel.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Tabatha Williams of Augusta, Tamra “Liz: Lamar of Martinez; son: Berry Lamar of Hephzibah; stepsons: Richard L. Manders, Edward “Pete” Boyd, both of Waynesboro; stepdaughters: Evelyn Ellen Murrah of Waynesboro, Kathy M. Brown of Augusta, Carolyn F. Jones of Rockledge, FL, Kathy Price (Wendell) of Evans, Patty Johnson (Donee) of Martinez; brothers: Joe Chambers of Polk, FL, John Chambers of Dayton, OH; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his son Joseph Chambers.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 12:30 P.M. at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Wilson and Rev. Daryl Price officiating.
