CDR Guy F. Turner, Jr., US Navy (Ret.)

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Monday, February 26, 2018, CDR Guy F. Turner Jr. US Navy (Retired), 73, loving husband to Dr. Janet Markle.

Born in Quantico, VA, Guy earned a Bachelor of Science from Wesleyan College in North Carolina. He joined the Navy and retired after 23 years as a F-4 Phantom fighter pilot, and flew for Key Airlines after his military career. After making Martinez his home he became a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church and was active in the children and youth ministries.

Family members, in addition to his wife include daughters: Aimee Turner Womack (Alan), Kimberly Turner; son: Christopher Turner; grandchildren: Brandon Womack and Samantha Womack.

A memorial service will be Friday, March 2, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church with Dr. Matt Rich officiating. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
