Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, July 31, 2023, Mrs. Hannah Eid Forgay, 91, loving wife of 61 years to A.C. (Ace) Forgay.
Born in Haifa, Palestine, and fluent in five languages, Hannah travelled the world with Ace as he worked in over twenty countries as a geophysicist. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she loved nothing more than being with and cooking for her family.
She is dearly missed by her husband; her children Henri Younes, Annabelle Shepherd, and Andrew Forgay; her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Ghali, Teresa Gnatius, and Nawal Dahdah; and brothers John Eid and Joseph Eid. She is preceded in death by her parents, Habib and Miriam Eid; and sisters Zakia Akl, Helen Shalhoub, and Jeanette Ghazale.
The service will be private.
