Harold Mock

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 1, 2017, Mr. Harold Monroe Mock, 80, husband of Mrs. Camilla P. Mock.

Mr. Mock was a native of Ridgeland, SC but moved to Augusta at an early age. He graduated from the Academy of Richmond County, where he married the first Homecoming Queen, his wife of 57 years Camilla Paschal. Mr. Mock attended Clemson University before entering the United States Army where he trained to build bridges. He was the owner and operator of Mock and Sons General Contractors. Mr. Mock was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.

Family members in addition to his wife include his sons: John B. Mock (Karen), Paschal Mock (Lisa); granddaughter, Katie Mock; brother, Gene Mock (Shirley) and sister, Gloria Mock.

A graveside service will be Monday, February 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Thurman Norville officiating.

Memorials contributions may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 439 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
