Augusta, GA – Mr. Harrell Shaw Tiller, 89, entered into rest Sunday, December 21, 2014.
Mr. Tiller was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church and the Men’s Coffee Club. He was a former Chairman of the Richmond Commission, President of Harrell S. Tiller Realty, a former Richmond County School Board member, and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
Family members include his longtime friend and loving companion: Audrey Croft; brother: Bobby Tiller (Myrtle) of Augusta; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Madebach Tiller.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church with The Very Rev. Billy Alford officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 3321 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909.
