Heather Siddall

Heather Siddall, 39, entered rest on August 26, 2024. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors in Augusta, Georgia, with Rev. Grant Janik officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home. 

 Heather made her home in Brooklyn, New York for the last 20 years. She was a loving wife to her husband Alex and the perfect mom to her daughter Poppy. Heather lost her battle with rectal cancer, but just like her dad - not without a fight. We believe that she is now in Heaven, bickering with her dad over politics and what should be in his diet. Or, as her 5-year-old nephew Ash said, “She is probably up there with Pop Pop rearranging things.” She leaves behind her husband Alex Siddall and their precious daughter Poppy. Her mom, Cee Cee Culbertson Daley, sister Katie Stewart, brother-in-law Nathan, and her nephew Ash. 

 Heather was a true cancer warrior and never gave up. She would do anything and everything the doctors told her to do. We would really like to thank the people at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, N.Y. They were amazing, especially those who took care of her in ICU. Truly they were sent from the Lord to watch over her and her family. 

 Do not fear, for I am with you.

This foundation helps to fund research and support parents of children with a rare brain tumor, DIPG. Less than 4% of all cancer research money is donated to research for children’s cancers. Heather truly believed in this.
