Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, February 20, 2022, Mrs. Helen Lowe Cushman, 76, loving wife of the late Terry D. Cushman.
Helen was a lifelong resident of Augusta and worked at King Mill as a weaver for over 30 years. She loved her family and spending time with them, and she adored her grandchildren.
Family members include her daughters: Tina Canuette (Ronnie) and Amanda Baughman (Benny); grandchildren: Cody, Farrah, Cassidy, and Bobbie Canuette, and Briggs Baughman; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Larry Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cushman, Ronnie Canuette, Cody Canuette, Benny Baughman, Donnie Head, and Hanley Holliday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
