Helen Mozelle Robinette 

Augusta, GA – Helen Robinette, 97, loving wife of Fred Robinette went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 26, 2024. 

Family members include her son: Barry Robinette (Gina) of Augusta; daughter: Shirley Weathers (Michael) of Evans; grandchildren: Candice Robinette (Megan) of Grovetown, Gabriel Weathers (Aja) of Cumming, GA, Charles Robinette, Heather Robinette of Augusta. Great grandchildren: Davis Weathers, Keris Weathers, Noah Weathers, Brayden Weathers, Autumn Weathers of Cumming, GA. 

Helen was born in Doraville, Georgia, on June 28, 1926. She was employed by Eisenhower Hospital on Fort Eisenhower where she worked in Radiology as the office manager of secretarial staff. Helen loved her family, her church, her dear friends, and most of all, her Savior, Jesus Christ. She faithfully served her church, Crawford Avenue Baptist Church for almost 70 years. Fred and Helen spent their retirement traveling around America in their Volkswagen Van or their Truck with a camper shell. They loved to see God’s creation and experience first hand America the Beautiful. When not traveling, Helen sewed, worked on crafts, made flower beds, and helped cook meals for her family even into her 80s. 

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Malone Morris and Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., at the funeral home. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford Avenue Baptist Church, 507 Crawford Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
