Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, May 31, 2012, Mrs. Helen Pace Thompson Garrison, age 77. Family members include daughters: Helen Elizabeth “Lisa” Franklin and Laura Pace Short; grandson: David Noble Franklin; cousin: Pace Barnes Pruitt and wife Kay; special friend: the late George Herman Dieter, Jr.
Mrs. Garrison was a native of Atlanta, GA but lived in Augusta for the last 15 years. She attended Marjorie Webster Junior College in Washington, DC. Mrs. Garrison loved flowers and gardening. She was a homemaker and had a beautiful smile.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial park with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Cultural Center, 1301 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901 or to Trees for Augusta, Inc., PO Box 40084, Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
