Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, September 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and friends, Mr. Henry Reynolds Coleman, 81 husband of Betty Coleman.

Mr. Coleman graduated with honors from Clemson University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a Major in the United States Air Force with tours in Japan and Korea. Mr. Coleman retired from his service in the Military to start Coleman Engineering and Testing Laboratories in Augusta, GA.

Family members in addition to his wife include son: Donald Coleman (Lisa) of Evans; daughter: Suzanne Coleman Gunnels (Phil) of Evans, GA; grandchildren: Caroline Carter (Dolan), Jennifer Gunnels, Matthew Coleman, Paige Gunnels, Avery Coleman, Katie Coleman and Olivia Coleman; three great grandchildren; and brother: Rey Coleman (Nancy) of Prosperity, SC. Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his son: Henry Coleman, Jr. and brother: Dr. Edmund Coleman.

A memorial service will be Monday, September 29, 2014, 3:00P.M. at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church with Dr. Matt Rich officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Thornwell Home for Children at 302 S. Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall at the church.
