Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Trinity Hospital, Mr. Henry Sieron, 82, husband of Jean M. Sieron.
Mr. Sieron was a native of Perth Amboy, NJ. He was a 1946 graduate of Sayreville High School, attended Alliance College, and Rutgers University. He was a member of President Park Fire Co., serving as President, Vice President, Chief, and Chairman of 3 Fire Truck Planning Committees. Mr. Sieron was an Eagle Scout, Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, and Explorer Advisor in the Boy Scouts of America. He also served as an assistant coach in Little League Baseball. Mr. Sieron was a member of the North Augusta Country Club. He retired as a Quality Control Manager for Lily Tulip Cup Corporation in Holmdel, NJ, and Augusta, GA.
Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Deborah Sieron of NJ, Donna Sterns of NJ, Lisa Harrington of GA, Lee Sieron of FL, Doreen Duffy of NJ, Karen Lane of PA, Kellie Ohlinger of NJ; nine grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. Sieron was predeceased by his parents, Stephen A. and Helen F. Sieron, and brother, Stephen J. Sieron.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Rev. Miguel Grave de Peralta officiating.
