Hildegard Glatthaar Pollich

Augusta, GA – Hildegard Glatthaar Pollich entered into rest in her home on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mathias Pollich, her parents Karl and Katherine (Stark) Glatthaar and her sister Elli G. Hopp.

She is survived by her daughter Hilda E. Sullivan of Augusta and grandson Sean M. Sullivan of Boise, Idaho. She has nieces and nephews in Germany: Anita (Hopp) and Willi Kräter, Brunhilde (Hopp) and Dieter Schepp; Oliver Schepp; Markus and Judith Kräter, children Daniel and Johanna; Jochen and Maike Kräter, son Aaron.

Mrs. Pollich was a native of Saasen, Germany and lived in Augusta since 1981. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church and the German Friendship Club. She had worked hard all of her life continuing past her retirement years until age 81. She was kind and generous and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 Washington Road, Augusta, GA, at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 30, 2012.
Memorial donations may be made to Advent Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
