Hiroko Richardson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, September 21, 2015, Mrs. Hiroko Ozawa Richardson, 84, loving wife to the late retired S/Sgt.John H.Richardson.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Tokyo, Japan, but has lived in Augusta for the past 48 years. She was a member of the USA Dance Organization and did karaoke with her close friends. She was a devoted UGA football fan, enjoyed dancing, and loved to eat, despite her small stature. Mrs. Richardson was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Surviving family members include her children: Virginia Richardson Fulghum (David), Patricia “Patti” Richardson Lillis (Paul), Mary Richardson Thompson (Richard), and John “Jay” William Richardson, II (Shannon); grandchildren: Samantha F. Mathe (Michael), Savannah J. Fulghum, Brandon Crook, Benjamin Lillis (Lauren), Patrick Lillis, Molly Lillis, Thomas Beshara, Tyler Amerson, and Madyson Richardson; 3 great grandchildren; and sisters: Chiyoko Ozawa and Kiyoko Stamp.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
