Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 18, 2009, Mr. Ignatius Paul “Bo” Price, Jr., 84, husband of the late Doris S. Price.

Mr. Price was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He was a veteran of the US Marines during WWII, serving in Guam as a crew chief who transferred supplies all over the South Pacific. He retired as an instructor with the Signal School at Fort Gordon with 25 years of service. Mr. Price was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and past president of the Men’s Club and the Holy Name Society and former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Family members include his daughter: Rebecca P. Hattaway and husband Mike of Hephzibah; son: Ignatius Paul “Bubba” Price III of Augusta; brother: John Walter Price of Augusta; sister: Mary Ann Richards of Augusta and grandchildren: Michael Hattaway, Jason Hattaway, Megan Hattaway, Daniel Hattaway, Gracie Price and Abi Price.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2009 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. Raphael Estrada officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.

The Rosary will be Friday evening at 600 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484. A guestbook may be signed at www.thomaspoteet.com
