Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 12, 2014, Ila Sue Sapp, 91.
Mrs. Sapp was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. She enjoyed old Western movies, working crossword puzzles, camping, and fishing. She worked at King Mill with her best friend of 50 years, Mildred Hutchinson.
Family members include daughters: Sue Ellen Lane (the late Larry), Elaine Wilson (John), Karen Mobley (David), Jean Watson (Randy); grandchildren: Lauren Lane Hailey, Kerry Lane (Stacey), Jessica Shearer, Haley Feldhaus (Zac); and great grandchildren: Chenault Hailey, Holland Hailey, Hunter Lane, Karlie Grace Lane, and Clark Feldhaus. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Susie Vice and her beloved husband, Dick Sapp.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Wayne Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will include her Sunday School Class.
The family is deeply grateful and thankful for the kind and caring staff of Westwood Nursing Facility.
