Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, April 15, 2015, Mrs. Irmgard “Irma” Kostka, 81, wife of 59 years to the late Mr. Theodore Joseph “Ted” Kostka.
Mrs. Kostka was a native of Germany but became a Military wife and moved to the United States. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a very talented seamstress and homemaker.
Family members include daughters: Carol Warren (Gary), Rosemary Arthur (Robert); grandchildren: Melissa Warren, Christopher Warren (Crystal), Robert Adam Arthur (Bertha); great-grandchildren: Addison and Lillian; and special feline friend: Thomas.
A funeral service will be Sunday, April 19, 2015, 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. John Kenney and Rev. Forrest Page officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to thank Quest Church, the 8th Floor Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and United Hospice. They would also like to thank her loving care providers and friends: René, Linda, Chris, Margaret and Madonna.
Memorial contributions may be made to Quest Church Children’s Ministry’s or to the CSRA Humane Society.
