Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 26, 2011, J. David McMichael, Sr., husband of 61 years to Betty Sue McMichael.
Mr. McMichael was in the Local Union 150 as a pipefitter. He served with the Navy in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Elaine Mathis of Augusta, son: J. David McMichael, Jr. of Milledgeville, GA,, 5 grandchildren: C. Vince Hardy III, R. Ben Hardy, G. David McMichael, J.D. McMichael III, Blair E. McMichael, 6 great-grandchildren and sister: Betty Taylor.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, January 30, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at the home of Ben and Jodie Hardy, 2003 Prince William Dr., North Augusta, SC 29841.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the family of J. David McMichael, Sr.
