Mr. Jack "Butch" Gordon Reese Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, August 7, 2017, Jack “Butch” Gordon Reese, Jr., age 61.

Mr. Reese was an Augusta native. He served in the US Army in the early 1970’s and was a retired truck driver following a 15 year career. Jack was a devoted father and loving husband to his sweetheart and wife of 43 years, Reba Reddy Reese. He was also a proud and dedicated member of Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Reba Reddy Reese; daughter: Jennifer Dansby (Jeff); sons: Johnathan Reese, Jason Reese (Michaela), Robert “Jack” Reese; grandchildren: Christina Dansby, Christopher Dansby, Erik Reese, Johnathan Reese, Jr.; brothers: William ”Billy” Reese, James “Jimmy” Reese (Catherine) and sister: Patricia “Trish” Fisher (John).

Jack will be missed by all and remembered especially for his “Facebook Live” Church “Hello’s” he would post to brighten the day of others.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Providence Baptist Church, 3850 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30909. The family will receive friends following the service in the church gymnasium.
