Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, August 26, 2017, Jack Mills Freeman, 95.
Mr. Freeman was born in Rutherfordton, NC and made Augusta his home for many years. He retired from the U.S Army after 21 years of service. Jack was the President and Founder of the Augusta Masters City Riders.
Family members include his son: Thomas W. Freeman (Renee) of Aiken, SC; daughter: Gail Connor (Wayne) of Martinez, and their mother: Margaret W. Freeman; grandchildren: Brian Connor and Anna Freeman.
A graveside service will be Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimers/Dementia Association, 106 SRP Drive, Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
