Jack Gary Spivey Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, April 26, 2019, Mr. Jack Gary Spivey, Jr., 72, loving husband of Donna Jean Spivey.
Mr. Spivey was a 3rd generation firefighter for the City of Augusta, Ft. Gordon and Dobbins Air Force Base where he retired. He served in the United States Marines who fought in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the local American Legion Post #63 and was a Mason at the Sweetwater Lodge #421 in Lilburn, GA where he was the Post Master in 2012. Mr. Spivey was also a member of the JJG Hunt Club in Louisville, GA.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Cynthia Lynn Evans (Jess), Sylvia Leigh Looper, and Linda Dodd; grandchildren: Lauren Pate, Kyle Hammock, Gianna Evans, Jackson Evans, and Scott Pass; and sister: Fran Elaine Mathis. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky Allen Spivey and Tommy Lynn Spivey.
