North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest Saturday, May 2, 2015 at her home, Jackie Jadon Smith, 64.
Mrs. Smith fought cancer tooth and nail for over two years and maintained good spirits by having faith. She enjoyed working as a secretary at Kendrick Paint & Body and loved the family she developed there. She was a loving mother and grandmother and her children were her life. Mrs. Smith was a member of The Vine Church at Grovetown.
Family members include sons: James and Chris Smith; daughter: Ashley Dye; grandchildren: Preston James Smith, Dylan Dye, Harley Dye, T.J. Hartley, Hannah Schleenbaker and Almanda Schleenbaker; 2 great grandchildren; mother: Mable C. Wright; sisters: Shirley Campbell and husband Bob and Lisa Smith; and brothers: Rick Hilliard and wife Linda, Reggie Hilliard and wife Jean and Bobby Hilliard. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and special friends, including Sharon and Daniel Moon, Steve, Stevie and Jimmy Kendrick; and Bubba Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, George Hilliard.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at The Vine Church at Grovetown with Rev. Larry Bullard officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers to include: James Smith, Chris Smith, Daniel Moon, Andy Passmore, Trey Keenan, Drew Passmore, Craig Smith and ad Hilliard.
