Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, June 25, 2018, Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Storey, 84, loving wife of Edwin Wayne Storey.
Mrs. Storey was born in Wellington, KS in 1933. She worked for the Richmond County Board of Education retiring from Butler High School as a Bookkeeper. Her life revolved around her family.
Family members, in addition to her husband, include her children: Mark Allen Storey (Doris), Stacey Storey Bentley (Ricky), and Amy Storey Hunt (Kevin); grandchildren: Josh Storey (April), Amelia Boylan (Eric), Ryan Dixon, Allison Oliver, Kyle Bentley, Patrick Bentley (Heather), Christopher Campbell, Kaila Hunt, Jordan Hunt, Madelyn Hunt, Lydia Hunt; daughter-in-law: Joy Storey and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: Edwin Clay Storey; her parents: Mary Frances Graves Pierpoint and Hermon Ural Graves; her brother: William Graves.
The family would like to thank Peggy Shepherd and Betty Day for all their love and care.
The funeral service will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Lance Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care, 1901 Central Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
