James Thomas Dye

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, James Thomas Dye, 85, husband of Janice Price Dye.

Mr. Dye was a dedicated machine operator for over 20 years at Kendall Company before retiring, never missing a day of work. He will be remembered as a good Christian man that was a member of New Beginnings Community Baptist Church. He enjoyed Sunday service and gospel music. James loved being outdoors, fishing and gardening.

Family members include his wife of 14 years: Janice Dye; sons: Wayne Dye (Deborah), Timmy Dye; daughters: Deborah Rowland (Glenn), Donna Moore (John); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Dye was preceded in death by his parents: Eulie and Maggie Dye; first wife: Charma Dye; son: Tommy Dye; brother: Paul Dye; sister: Virginia Walden.

The graveside service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Wayne Todd and Dr. Roy Head officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings Community Baptist Church, 4274 Belair Frontage Road Augusta, Ga. 30909
