James M. “Jim” Faglier
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, May 17, 2010 at University Hospital, Mr. James M. “Jim” Faglier, 83, husband of Dolores M. Faglier.
Mr. Faglier was a native of Avera, GA and had lived in the Augusta area since 1951. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and retired after working with Civil Service for 31 years as an instructor at the Signal School. Mr. Faglier was a member and Deacon of Fleming Baptist Church and member of the W. Cave Sunday School Class. He was also a member of Green Meadows Golf Club and Forest Hills Golf Club.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Patricia (Ricia) Collins of Augusta; son: James (Jimmy) Faglier, Jr. of Augusta; stepdaughters: Teresa LaChance of Albuquerque, NM; Celina LaChance of Smyrna, GA; stepson: John LaChance of Atlanta; grandchildren: Courtney Delgado and husband Robert, Brittany Faglier, Kaylee Faglier, Austin James Faglier; step granddaughter: Rio Click; seven great grandchildren; brothers: Bobby Faglier and wife Grace of Louisville, GA, Edward Faglier and wife Beverly of Carrolton, GA; sisters: Anne Manning of Louisville, GA, Linda Manning and husband Russell of Louisville, and Faye Miller and husband Jerry of Jesup, GA.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. at Fleming Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Atkins officiating. Interment will be provate. Honorary Pallbearers will be the W. Cave Sunday School Class and Deacons of Fleming Baptist Church.
