Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, December 31, 2011 at University Hospital, Mr. James Henry Wing Jr., 63, husband of Sybil Clemens Wing.
Mr. Wing was born in Waterville, Maine but moved to Augusta at a young age. He attended Southern Technical Institute for Electric Engineering. He was drafted into U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Wing was a licensed flight instructor, loved firearms and motorcycles. He loved life and lived it to the fullest and he was the backbone of his family. He was a longtime employee of Johnson, Laschober Associates.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter, Jennifer Clark and husband Brad, step-daughter: Andrea Clemens, step-son: Jonathan Clemens and wife Joy, brothers: Dana E. Wing, Jonathon G. Wing and wife Sydney, sister: Bonnie Wing Rowley, grandchildren: Tyler, Tayler, Kayler, Andrew, and niece: Susan Coleman.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Jayaraju Koppula. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be his family at Johnson, Laschober Associates.
