James “Jamie” M. Kettler

Appling, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, November 14, 2017, Mr. James “Jamie” Michael Kettler, 46, husband of Melissa Kettler.

Jamie was born in Columbus, OH but grew up in Martinez, GA. He was an avid outdoorsman, expert hunter and fisherman participating in several tournaments. Jamie was “The Boss” in his group of friends and was incredibly generous with his time and talents. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and son. The lives he touched are too numerous to list.

Family members in addition to his wife, include his mother: Holly Barrie and husband Rod; father: Ronald H. Kettler; daughter: Ashley Kettler; stepdaughters: Gabby and Anna Willis; granddaughter: Addison Kettler; and numerous other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Todd Kettler.

A celebration of Jamie’s life will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with The Rev. Jim Said officiating.
